You know how you meet someone and instantly connect, that there is a familiar comfortableness which seems to grow deeper and deeper with each passing year, how, as you share more and more, you discover more and more similarities, and it seems you lived many lifetimes together, well, that is the way it is between us.
Some would say we met ‘by accident’ and I would say we met right on time, in perfect orchestration, it was fated.
We were buddies from the start, connected like we had never been apart.
On the outside, not a match it seemed, yet inside we were a perfect fit.
Our sense of self was buried under a pile of stuff protecting us from pain and sorrow, underneath the heap our little girls met, both neglected and forgotten.
Truth is our deepest connection.
Truth flowed between us, always, releasing long held secrets and sorrows; we freely expressed our fears, out loud.
I look with honor upon her pathway and how she tried so hard, and failed. She failed to correct another’s wrong.
