I M Perfect lady

Beauty in the Woods!

IMG_0814

Ever since we have gotten snow such huge amounts of snow, I wondered how the flags were doing in the woods…from my daughter's wedding.  This morning my daughter and I snowshoed in to see how the woods were decorated.

IMG_0823And, I wanted to be the first to make tracks, to see it untouched as the flags continued to decorate this space.  Beautiful to see them with the white background…

IMG_0842This is the site of the Vows.  It was so pretty decorated in snow. We could hear the dropping of huge chucks of snow…and I am sure the Trees felt relived of their heavy loads.

And the Chickadees came to visit.  They wanted to land on me…and did.

The next time we will bring them birdfood!  I can't wait to make a quilt "The Bird Lady"!

It is so fun to see the way the snow molds itself smooth and round…perfectly.

Oh so beautiful! The peace I felt while seeing your pictures was incredible. I can almost smell that cold clean air! How blessed the whole path is! Thank you for sharing. And the chickadee landing on you…oh my gosh, amazing!

Lori, it was spectacular out there, the sights, the sounds and the fresh air! It was a tough snowshoe in, but a very nice easy one on the way out….following the trail. And, the flags looked so nice yet, not faded or anything. I may take them down in the spring and relocate them or maybe just move them to the spot by the pond. Anyway, it was my first snowshoe this year and one I want to repeat. A snowshoe of taking pictures of things is what I like!

Beautiful, Beth. I could feel the peace. I love the mushroom stumps and such which develop after the heavy, wet snows fall. Such fun to see.
